Picture it. It was a cloudy yet nice April day in 4th grade as myself and all the 4th graders were beginning to head outside for recess. As I began to walk towards the doors I realized that I had forgotten my coat therefore I went back to my locker to get it. When I returned I had noticed that everyone was not at the doors anymore so I thought they had gone outside. As I went outside I soon noticed that it was massively, incredibly poring rain. Just to be sure I ran to the playground to see if anyone was there in which no one was. When I ran back to the doors to go back in, the doors were locked! There were a lot of things that went through my head at that moment but one thing that did not come up was the option to maybe try the front doors to see if they were unlocked. There I stood in the middle of the official hardest downpour of 2007 with nothing to do for 15 full minutes. Finally as I look through the doors my teacher is coming my way. I start to shout ''I'm locked out here let me in'' and she lets me through the doors. As she lets me in she begins to laugh and I say '' What's so funny''. She gave me one of those how dumb are you looks and said ''You know the front doors aren’t locked''. Therefore every time I see a storm I am always reminded of that fateful day in April.
